Love-filled afternoon celebration! At Berts Rooms and Events, Clifton, Brighouse.
Wonderful winter wedding
Winter weddings can be hit and miss when it comes down to what to expect weather-wise. You could have a really cold miserable day, but if the sun creeps out and you get some glorious winter sunshine it can be as beautiful as day as at any time of year. Rachael and Andy were lucky! This was a wonderful afternoon wedding ceremony, conducted by the lovely celebrant C'est la vie Roxanne at the Black Horse Inn at Clifton. After the ceremony and a few quick couples portraits outside in the sunshine, I knew I would get some great shots of the guests as we filled into the reception. Good humour and love filled the air as everyone congratulated the couple and laughed their way through the afternoon. We paused for some groups shots in the court yard, before the sun went down and then we grabbed some further couples portraits. The newly weds wanted to stay indoors for their shoot so we utilised the cosy indoor area of this gorgeous ye olde traditional pub setting. The wedding breakfast included something rarely seen as weddings: a beautiful song from the bride herself. Tears aplenty including the groom! We managed to fit in a few more outdoor portraits and cake cut, before I left them to their evening celebrations. What a wonderful afternoon it was.
