Black and White
What is it about black and white that I love? I think it all started when we were studying for our diploma back in 2006. Our heroes were the founders of 'Magnum' the first documentary photography 'agency' who worked mainly in black and white back in the day. Perhaps, for this reason, black and white always feels more 'timeless' to me.
However, I also love the way it highlights details that colour looses, like light, texture, shape and form.
Finally, when working in black and white, I feel like it gives me license to be more creative, artist and it adds an element of emotion.
